A LOVE-LETTER GAME FOR THE FANS
Maverick is a 2D action metroidvania-lite that draws inspiration from fan favorites of the SNES era, such as Megaman X, Metroid, and Castlevania. Experience a wide variety of environments, enemies, and friends - all hand-drawn in a 16-bit pixel art style.
Maverick is being developed by Arbiter Games in the United States. Currently, the studio is a one-man team - taking on the myriad of roles involved in making a game. It's been an amazing journey so far, and I look forward to earning you as a fan as well as delivering an amazing and memorable game.
